July 19th Pics are posted
Welcome Back everyone

Sorry if it took a week to post the pics, but they are up now.  That was a good ride, very good timing with the rain, and everything.  Of course I had to go play in the mud, and the mud won...  Seems like when I was in the mud everyone had their camera's running.  Still had an awesome time.  Next ride August 16 2009 to Hangstone, and that is our Family Day ride.  Check out the "Club Scheduled Rides" page for more details.

Enjoy!!!

July 19th Ride

July 19th 2009 Ride to Sand Dam Rd.

Tomorrow morning we have another Ride, Rain or Shine.  We park at the Sand Pit at the first pole line, 5.4 Km from Hwy 17.  Click Here to see map.  The ride is 102 Km, total, and there is no fast forward if we get caught in the rain.  Sunday's Weather is Variable Cloudiness High of 20, with 20% chance of rain but less than 1mm of rain.  Bring Gas, Lunch and wear boots.  The first part of the trail is dirty but the rest of the trails is dry and smooth.  Hope to see you there.

Joel.

July 19 2009 Sand Dam Rd. Ride
Hello Everyone

Welcome back to the site.  Sunday I scouted the trail for July 19th ride, and cleared any obstructions, so we're good to go.  The ride is 102 Km long, the trail between Riding Stable Rd. and Hwy 11 North is rough and dirty so you don't want to wear running shoes.  Unfortunately the Chip Stand is closed on weekends, so bring a lunch, and you may want to bring a change of clothes for when you get back to the truck.

If we stop often for breaks this is a good 7 to 8 hour day.  I did it in 7 hours but I was cruising on some of the roads.  Check out the details on the "Club Ride Schedule" page.  Also, you can check out the "Where's Joel" page and click on the "Spot" to see my track from Sunday.

Hope to see you there...

Gull Lake Pictures
Welcome Back everyone

Sorry it took me a while, but I finally uploaded the pics that were sent to me from our Gull Lake ride before it started raining.  I was very busy with lots of other great stuff we're doing for the Club, we uploaded a video to Youtube, we're in the process of creating a DVD for the members, all kinds of things.

Anyway, enjoy the pics, and check back here later for some updates regarding the next ride of July 19th 2009.
