Latest Updates
Hi Everyone.
Welcome back to our Site.  Not much to report in the last while, except we had our first ride of the year.  It was very short notice because we go when the sap runs..  So the club had their first ride on March 17 2010, to the Desjardin Sugar Shack.  There were 12 ATVs in attendance, good turn out for such a short notice.  Check out the Pictures in our Club's Photoalbum.  Next ride is the Baie Jeanne ride on Wednesday May 19, 2010.  Check out the details on the Club's Scheduled Rides page.

So its started :O)

Happy Trails...

What has been going on!!!
Hi Everyone

it's been a while since I posted here.  Well I'm still around, busy busy busy...  So our Ride schedule is out for the summer.  The Club's rides are posted on both pages "Upcoming Events" and on the "Club Rides Schedule".  We have 18 Rides scheduled for this summer, which 4 of them are during the week, and 1 night run.  The Upcoming Events calendar also includes all of the Rallies in our area.

We have formed a couple of committees to help organize rides and update our maps.  The ride commitee Chaired by Claude Patenaude has done an excellent job with the 2010 schedule, some of the rides are repeats from last year due to popular demands, and we also have new ones.

We have been busy tring to select a new logo for the club and this was no easy tasks, we finally asked for help of Franco Cite grade 11 & 12 computer class which came up with several excellent logos.  They were so good we had to vote SEVERAL times to finally decide on one.  We want to thank everyone at Franco Cite and the Teacher Gilles Cuillerier, and a big Thank you to Maxine Paquette, who's design was selected as the NEW LOGO for our Club.  The final touches are almost done to it so stay tuned to see our logo.  Well actually, if you want to see a glimpse of it I did post it to our "Corporate Sponsors" page.

The Map Committee chaired by Mr. Barry Beauchamps has a lot of new ideas in the works, but one of their main goals is to update all our Maps in the Map Area page.  This is long process but it will get done.

Another new feature we added to our site on the Corporate Sponsor page, is that if you click on the word MAP under the corporate sponsor this will bring you to Google Visual Streets, which is brand new for our area. You can actualy see their establishement, Check it Out, Very cool. This Google feature was released approximately 1 month ago for our area, so check it out, zoom out to use the navigation controls, you can go look at your own house if they have enabled this feature in your area.

One of things that is a popular demands from our Members is GPS training, well we do have a GPS Lessons posted on our site, but we are considering incorporating Geocaching to our Rides.  What is Geocaching?  Well it's a world wide scavenger hunt using your GPS. If you want to learn about Geacaching please visit our "GPS Lessons" page and click on the Step By Step link that we posted there.

Our Club is growing and is getting better.  All of this is thanks to the members volunteering their precious time to improve the club's services.  We have some very dedicated individuals that work very hard at improving every aspects of our Club.  I want to personaly thank everyone of them.  THANK YOU!!  These guys have made my job as the President of the Club easy.
I would like to name all of them, but there are too many to Thank and I would feel really bad if I named them and then forget one of them.  But Guys you know who you are, Thank You.

So it's very exciting year we even changed the our Family Day for our members to be better than last year. Family Day is reserved for Members and their family, so join up to participate.  My ATV is all ready to go...  Can't Wait!!

So I hope to see you on the Trails, and let's make 2010 the most sucessful, safe, and Fun year ever.

Till Then Take Care....
