Another Great Year DoneHello Everyone
Thank you for visiting the Website. Well what an awesome year we had. There was 18 rides
in 2010, with an average of 18 ATVs attending, what a success. We also had our Family Day with over 55 people attending,
that's unbelievable. Great year all in all. Well, we are hard at work for our members here, we have our 2011 schedule
done, we need to finalize a few details before we post it on the site. We have a total of 13 rides scheduled for 2011
with a couple of new rides and activities. We have already started to scout the new trails for next year. So come
and check the schedule to see what's in store for 2011.
The club was able to get some new Radios for the Lead and
Tail, and also for our scouters. These are commercial grade VHF/UHF FM Radios. This would not have been possible
without the generosity of Bart Day from William Day Construction in Sudbury, for the generous cash donation towards the purchase
of these Radios. William Day Construction is the employer of one of our Executives Jim Riddle. Thank
you very much Mr. Bart Day and William Day Construction!!!
Also, the club recently received
another generous donation. Mr. Stephen Cerisano donated a brand new Spot (newest generation Spot 2) with all the required
accessories. So I will have to change the "Where's Joel" page to "Where the Heck are We"... Thank you very much Mr. Stephen Cerisano!!!
So as we go we are getting very well equiped,
thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors and members.
So check back here during the course of the winter
for news and other things, visit our Useful and Fun Links, it has tons of stuff to help you.
Till
next time, Keep it Safe!

Club Updates!Hello Everyone! Yes I'm still around. It's been a while since I have posted here. Just to let you know
I'm still around and still working hard for the club. I've been involved with VMUTS helping out with their Fall Rally,
and now we're planning their Spring Rally. But nonetheless I'm still working hard for WNATV Club. Representing
the club's best interest with the Provincial Organisations (ATVO & OFATV). If you want to know what is going on
with this, you will have to attend Tuesday's General Meeting in Field. The Meeting is at the Field Church Hall
on November 16th, members only. You can show up and sign up for membership and attend the meeting. So the last ride of the 2010 season is upon us coming Saturday Nov. 20th. This is going to be a good one. Don't
miss it... I have posted pictures taken by our Rides Committee and Maps Committee already SCOUTING new rides for 2011.
Check them out. We have repeated our most popular rides in 2011, but we have added a few new rides to North and West of
us. We like to keep it fresh, so stay tuned to see the 2011 Rides Schedule coming out on the site soon. I'm a
die hard and I ride year round, so I wont be "Parking" my ATV for the winter. So if you're like me and ride
year round and would like to join me on some of my personal Winter riding by e-mail, just sign our Guestbook letting
me know you would like to be invited this winter or Click Here to send me an e-mail. Also, we're looking into the Christmas Parade, if there is one, and if there is well rest
assured we will have a Float. We will be looking for volunteers to help us build it. So we will report back
here next week to talk about the last Club Ride of the season, so check back for updates and pictures. Sincerely, Joel

Powassan area scoutingTen members of our club went on a surprise scouting ride on Sunday, Nov 7 in the Powassan area, visiting Wasi Lake, Boulter
lookouts, Little Clear Lake, Pascal L, and Loon lake where the trail got a little rough. The second Boulter lookout offered
a breathtaking view over tree tops at 1300 ft altitude. They saw snow , rain, and sun on the same day, in that order. This
110 km ride is on the slate of rides for 2011. We would welcome any members to join the Rides Committee if you
know of any nice areas to ride, or if you would like to have fun helping us scout for club runs. Come out to
our next meeting on November 16th, at the Field Church hall at 7 pm and let us know you are interested.”

RABBIT LAKE ROAD SCOUTINGThe Rides committee scouted out a new trail in the Rabbit Lake area on Sunday. The club is planning a social ride in July
2011 with 2 fishing stops at lakes and maybe even a fish fry in that region. We encountered 4 inches of snow and saw some
beautiful scenery on an easy ride!Join the rides committee and help us find new grounds to ATV on. Michel
