Hope that your all having a great winter, and that the holiday season didn't leave you broke...
Well even if I don't update the blog as often in the winter, it doesn't mean that your club and committees are not busy.  We have posted the new Ride Schedule on our "Club's Ride Schedule" for 2011, as well as updated the calendar for most of the events in our Area on the "Upcoming Events" page. 

This year we reduced the number of rides from last year from 18 to 13, for a couple of reasons.  Mainly because we do not want to have a ride on the same day as a fund raising ATV Rally.  We encourage everyone to support fund raising Rallies, they are for good causes.  Also, eliminating the weekday rides reduces the number of rides offered. 

We have eliminated all rides that were on weekdays because of the lack of participation.  We have 3 new rides for this year expanding our region. We added a ride that is an ATV ride with Fishing.  Be sure to check the Club's Schedule to see which one it is, and to see what else we have planned for that day. 

So it looks like we are geared for another fabulous summer of riding.  Don't forget the General Meeting on Feb. 16th 2011 at 7:00pm at the Hall of Fame room at the arena in Sturgeon Falls.  Hope to see you there.

Some of your executives have been extremly involved with VMUTS and ATVO.  There are a lot of talks going on to create a new neutral provincial organization to represent all ATV clubs and ATVers in Ontario, when dealing with our Provincial Government, such as changing the description of an ATV that is legal to ride on the allowed Roads.  Also to lobby to have the "Double Riding" law changed and so on.  Rest assured that the West Nippising ATV Club has a voice there to represent them.  WNATV Club has 2 seats as Directors on the VMUTS Board as well as 1 seat as a Director on the ATVO Board.
