West Nipissing ATV Club

The West Nipissing ATV Club VTT Nipissing Ouest was established to promote the sport of safe and responsible ATV riding as well as to promote the development of dedicated and shared trails and the identification of other trails suitable for ATV riding within West Nipissing and adjoining areas.

West Nipissing is situated between North Bay and Sudbury in Ontario and lies north and west of Lake Nipissing. It comprises of many regions including the towns of Cache Bay, Crystal Falls, Field, Lavigne, Monetville, River Valley, Verner and Sturgeon Falls.

BOISVENUE-ROCKPINE Ride a success !

The ride left at 9:30 am sharp with 32 bikes on a nice sunny day.Slow going in mud on Boisvenue trail. Excellent lunch at Rockpine restaurant, one of our corporate sponsors.Back at 4:15 pm.

GREAT FIREWORKS ON NIGHT RUN

Last Saturday's night run was well attended with 36 ATVs, and a great reception by Camp Horizon on Muskasung Lake, with Hamburgers and pop ready for us. A donation was made to the Field First Response Team and a great Fireworks Show was put on by Daniel Patenaude: thanks Dan.

Don't forget to buy your Fish Fry Tickets for $20 for the mid-July Rabbit Lake ride from either of these 3 members: Barry Beauchamp bbeau@thot.net , Stephen Cerisano scltd@ontera.net or Jim Riddle jim.riddle@daygroup.ca.

ANNUAL MEETING & RIDE #2

Don't forget to attend our Annual Meeting next Wednesday May 18 at 7 pm at the Hall of Fame room at the Sturgeon Complex . We will have elections and a guest speaker, as well as draws for leather hats. A few days later, on Saturday May 21 , we'll have our Night Run , leaving Sturgeon at 8:30 pm to ride to Camp Horizon for fireworks and a BBQ. Back at 11 pm. Two great events you don't want to miss: bring a friend to either of these events and get him to join our great club!
