March 17, 2010 – Sugar Bush Ride #1 The ride
of Wednesday at the Desjardins Sugar Bush went very well. There were twelve ATV’s. It was a bit cold in
the morning, but nice and sunny. At the sugar bush, we had a tour of the maple sugar refinery. The sap did not
run early that morning because it was too cold but started to flow around 11 am. The owner, Gilbert Desjardins, gave
us a warm welcome. We ate taffy on snow and had maple sugar for dessert. We came back at around 2:30 in the afternoon. Claude
