WNATV Ride # 5: Nepewassi Lake (Saturday,

Sunny skies and mild temperatures
prevailed as 16 ATV riders enjoyed the West Nipissing ATV Club's fifth ride of the season. Riders departed from the Verner Arena and travelled along scenic back country
roads of Verner, Markstay and Warren to Mountain
View Lodge at Nepewassi Lake. Riders enjoyed several stops along the 140 km round trip to stretch, socialize and enjoy their snacks and refreshments. One of the first stopovers was at
Deer Lake, a very picturesque area. At one point along
the way, there was a brief stop to view a large turtle on the roadside. Upon arriving at Mountain View Lodge at Nepewassi
Lake, riders enjoyed their lunch in the shade,
while taking in the nice view of Nepewassi Lake and surrounding area. On the return trip, one stopover was at the Warren Esso where riders fuelled up and cooled off with ice
cream and soft drinks. All in all, a very
good day of ATVing and socializing!
