5 brave riders took off from Emerald Lake Camp at 9:30 am, Saturday Oct. 16th in 2 degrees Celsius weather on
our 17th scheduled ride
of the year. The sun was out
and beautiful but we all were happy to have warm clothing on. The ride was enjoyable with the fall colours and
the trails covered with
fallen leaves. The creek from Seagram to Linger Lake was a challenge but we made it with no problems. During the
ride
we decided to investigate the trail to Pilgrim Creek and beyond to the Sturgeon River and then back to the trail to Bull Lake. We
arrived
back
to our vehicles at 4:30 pm after travelling 105 km.
It was an excellent day.
