WNATV Ride 11 - Thistle Lake - Saturday, September 17th, 2011, Sponsored by: Canadian Tire (S.F.) and R & L Equipment Sales & Service

Nice sunny cool day, we had 26 ATV and 30 people showed up at the sand pit on Island Lake Rd.  We left at approximately

9:45 am.  We slowly made our way through the rough part of the trail to Ragged Chute where we had our lunch.  But on our

way there we had one ATV with engine trouble where they decided to go back.  After lunch we proceeded to do the rest of

the ride where the trails were nice.  We stopped where the Ranger's camp used to be.  We made several stops along the way

since this is a short ride.  We climbed the hill to the ranger's tower.  After the tower we headed back to the parking.  We

arrived at the parking just before 4 pm.  Everyone packed up and left except for a few people stayed behind to socialize for

an hour or so.  Thank you everyone for coming out with us.
